Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer for a prominent mining support services client in Rustenburg, North West. The role focuses on optimizing plant operations, improving asset utilization, and driving cost-effective processes in a challenging mining environment.

You'll analyze workflows, implement lean and Six Sigma projects, develop KPIs, and collaborate with maintenance and operations to deliver measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial engineering focused on plant or manufacturing operations.
• Proven lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Experience with process mapping and simulation software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Mining or heavy industrial sector experience is desirable.
• Based in or able to commute to Rustenburg, North West.
