Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mining Engineering with an industrial focus.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial engineering, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Proven experience in process analysis, optimization and performance improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling and process simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Our client, a major mining operation based in Rustenburg , North West , is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their diverse operational processes. This role is critical in analyzing and optimizing workflows within the mining value chain, from extraction to processing and logistics. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to improve productivity, reduce costs, and ensure safety compliance. You will work collaboratively with mine managers, geologists, engineers, and operational staff to identify challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience in process analysis, optimization, and performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
