Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering with plant layout and ergonomics.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts in material flow and workstation design.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize plant layouts, material flow, and workstation arrangements to improve efficiency.
• Apply ergonomic principles and assessments to reduce strain and prevent injuries.
• Use CAD software to create 2D/3D models of layouts and equipment.
• Conduct ergonomic risk assessments (e.g., REBA, RULA) and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with production, safety, and maintenance to implement improvements.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and lines with ergonomic integration.
• Maintain documentation on layouts, material handling, and ergonomic standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement focused on safety and efficiency.
• Work on-site in Mahikeng, North West.
