Job summary

Our client in the distribution and logistics sector is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join the Distribution Operations team in Forest City, Iowa on a 3-month contract. You will support process improvement and operational excellence through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, strong analytical and project management skills, and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in process design and distribution network management
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Labor Management, and Slotting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities for improvement within the Distribution network
• Coordinate and manage the implementation of process improvements
• Establish and maintain best practices across distribution centers
• Develop and oversee engineered labor standards and performance incentive programs
• Support cross-functional teams and provide functional support for Warehouse Management Systems
