Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician for our client in Kimberley to maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, and control panels. You will troubleshoot problems, perform preventive maintenance, and install new infrastructure in an industrial facility.

The ideal candidate will read schematics, work safely, and operate PLCs and testing equipment, with the ability to work independently to keep production running smoothly. A relevant trade qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Industrial Electrician with relevant certifications or trade qualifications.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems, motors and control panels.
• Strong understanding of PLCs and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment.
• Commitment to safety regulations and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial setting.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes and regulations.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and minimize downtime.
