Qualifications

• Qualified as an Industrial Electrician with relevant trade certification.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with the commissioning of new machinery and plant modifications in Vereeniging.
