Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design or a related field.
• Experience using SolidWorks to develop 3D parts, assemblies and mechanisms.
• Basic proficiency in Rhino and Adobe Photoshop.
• Understanding of technical drawing standards, dimensions and tolerances.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert 2D sketches into accurate 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and Rhino.
• Create and maintain detailed 2D engineering drawings with dimensions.
• Prepare BOMs and material lists for purchasing and manufacturing.
• Assist with design changes to improve function and manufacturability.
• Prepare files for 3D printing and digital fabrication.
• Support prototype testing and product validation.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, purchasing and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are current and accurate.
