Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Chemical Engineer to join its manufacturing operations in East London. The role focuses on applying chemical engineering principles to improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance of industrial processes.
You will optimize existing production methods, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the design and implementation of new process technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial chemical engineering experience.
- Experience with process simulation, modeling, and data analysis tools.
- Strong safety and environmental compliance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize industrial chemical processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new process equipment and systems.
- Ensure all processes comply with stringent health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and project goals.
