Placements24 seeks an Industrial Automation Engineer to advance manufacturing capabilities in Stellenbosch. You will design, implement, and maintain automated systems, integrating PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and robotics to boost production efficiency, quality, and safety.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy control systems across lines, ensuring compliance with safety standards and driving operational excellence in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development.
• Experience with robotic programming and integration (KUKA, FANUC).
• Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
• Develop and implement robotic solutions for manufacturing processes.
