The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in electrical design, strong PLC/HMI skills (Siemens, Rockwell), and a solid grasp of industry codes, safety standards, and industrial networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design and control systems engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and industrial control practices.
- Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (remote/on-site).
Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD software.
- Program and commission PLCs and HMIs for automated machinery.
- Specify electrical components, sensors, actuators, and drives for control systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical and control system issues during setup, testing, and operation.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers for seamless integration.
- Maintain documentation of designs, code, and procedures.
