Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Inclusion and Diversity Officer to champion belonging and equity in Upington, Northern Cape. This hybrid role blends on-site leadership with remote strategy and outreach to foster an inclusive culture across operations and the local community.

You will develop DEI strategies, deliver training, advise on policies, and measure progress toward diversity goals, collaborating with departments and external partners to ensure equitable opportunities for all.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in DEI roles or related fields (HR/community development).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing DEI strategies and programs.
• Strong knowledge of DEI best practices, legislation, and social justice issues.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work hybrid (on-site + remote) and balance responsibilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
• Experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment.

Responsibilities
