Job summary

Discovery stores are seeking a dynamic Store Team Leader to act as a Brand Ambassador and lead a high-performing in-store team. You will focus on exceptional customer experiences while driving sales and engagement, embodying Discovery’s values and leading through trust-based leadership.

You will manage face-to-face engagement with walk-in clients, identify opportunities, deepen client relationships, and maximize the value of in-store interactions.

Qualifications

• 3 year undergraduate degree is required.
• 2 to 3 years sales and client services team leader/management experience is essential.
• Relevant financial services industry experience or qualification is advantageous.
• Discovery Product Knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of sales and service consultants.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure products are stocked.
• Identify training needs and develop relevant training programs.
• Regularly assess performance against KPIs and report to management.
• Facilitate effective communication between team members and other departments.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and standards.
• Stay informed on market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Monitor expenses and adhere to budget constraints.

Education

3 year undergraduate degree

2-3 years sales and client services team leader/management experience

Relevant financial services industry experience
