Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Pediatric Nanny & Educational Support professional for a family in East London, Eastern Cape. The role emphasizes daily care, educational enrichment, and supporting learning for young children in the family home.

Responsibilities include planning activities, monitoring routines, and communicating progress with parents. Requires 4+ years in childcare, First Aid/CPR, and a valid SA driver's license. Eligible to work in SA is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Nanny, Childminder, or Early Childhood Educator.
• Proven experience in providing educational support and facilitating learning for young children.
• Solid understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.
• First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for children, including feeding, bathing, and ensuring their well-being.
• Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate educational activities and learning games.
• Support children with homework and encourage good study habits.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Manage children's daily schedules, including playtime, naps, and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities and progress.
• Maintain children's living areas tidy and organized.
• Foster a love for learning and exploration in the children.
