Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an on-site Nanny and Educational Support Provider in Upington, Northern Cape, to care for two children aged 3 and 6. The role focuses on nurturing development, supporting early learning activities, and assisting with homework in a safe, engaging home environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and passionate about childcare, with experience with toddlers and school-aged children. This is a stable, long-term position in a family setting in Upington.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional nanny/childcare experience.
• Experience with toddlers and school-aged children essential.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision for two children aged 3 and 6.
• Create a safe, stimulating environment and plan age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with homework and early learning tasks.
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children.
• Maintain daily routines, hygiene, and tidiness of childrens areas.
• Communicate progress and activities with parents.
