Job summary

Röhlig & Co in Durban is seeking an Import Controller - Seafreight to manage imports, coordinate freight, and ensure compliance across the end-to-end process.

Based at our Durban Airfreight Branch, the role requires five years of import controlling experience in Clearing and Forwarding, plus Matric and a freight forwarding qualification; you will handle forwarding, clearing, transport coordination and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years import controlling experience in Clearing and Forwarding.
• Sound knowledge of seafreight shipment types and claims/insurance processes.

Responsibilities

Education

• Matric
• 1-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 3 and 4

Knowledge and experience

• Minimum of 5 years import controlling experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry with proven track record of end to end process execution.
• Sound knowledge of seafreight shipment types & claims/insurance processes
