Job summary

HCLTech is hiring an experienced IM Technician to support Operational Technology (OT), IT Infrastructure, Network, Server, Wireless, and End-User Computing environments for mining operations in South Africa.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in OT environments, network infrastructure, servers, wireless technologies, Citrix, security systems, and IoT devices while ensuring high system availability, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification (Diploma / Degree preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of IT Infrastructure and OT support experience.
• Experience supporting mining operations will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain network, server, and end-user infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and service requests.
• Support OT, IoT, wireless networks, and security systems.
• Ensure SLA compliance and timely ticket resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and service providers.
• Identify risks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
