• Bachelor's degree in Education with specialization in Special Needs Education.
• Registered teaching qualification with educational authorities.
• At least 5 years experience with students with special educational needs.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Understanding of SA education system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor IEPs for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to differentiate instruction and classroom strategies.
• Conduct assessments and observations to identify needs.
• Engage with parents to discuss progress, needs, and strategies.
• Coordinate with external specialists and support services.
• Advocate for needs of students within the school community.
• Maintain confidential student records and IEP documentation.
• Organize meetings related to special needs support and IEP development.
