Job summary

PwC SATIC is expanding its Identity & Access Management team in South Africa. The IAM Manager will design, govern, and deliver end-to-end IAM programs, focusing on AM, IGA, and PAM across client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in IAM consulting, delivery, or managed services.
• Practical experience with CyberArk for PAM and Identity Governance platforms like SailPoint and Saviynt.
• Solid architecture skills for IAM solutions aligned with security policies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with AM, PAM, IGA, LDAP and entitlement concepts; ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and ITIL frameworks; IAM vendor certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate effective IAM controls across client environments.
• Define IAM strategy and governance models; lead multi-year transformation programmes.
• Manage IAM engagements including strategy, advisory, implementation, and assurance.
• Produce documentation and quality assure junior outputs; manage client relationships.
• Oversee incident triage, root cause analysis, SLA adherence, and service improvements.
• Coordinate between clients, delivery teams and service-management functions.
• Develop IAM propositions, toolkits, methodologies, and accelerators; mentor staff.
