Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water resource management initiatives in Upington, Northern Cape. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resource Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with focus on water/resource/environmental projects.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects in challenging environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of water resource projects.
• Develop project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate internal staff, consultants, and contractors.
• Oversee water infrastructure projects, conservation programs and policy development.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Monitor progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage project finances and report on performance.
• Engage with stakeholders including government bodies and local communities in Upington.
• Prepare regular project reports and technical documentation.
