You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to streamline operations, manage inventory accuracy, and implement improvements that reduce costs while maintaining high service levels in the Gauteng

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certification preferred.
• 2-3 years in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely processing.
• Supervise and guide warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular checks and system updates.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Ensure efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Liaise with transport providers to coordinate delivery and collection schedules.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in training new warehouse employees.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
