Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Transportation Planner to optimize the delivery network around Pretoria, Gauteng. This hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote analysis to design efficient routes and schedules for a growing retail distribution operation.

You will plan daily, weekly, and monthly routes, monitor fleet performance, and work with drivers, dispatchers, and store managers to ensure timely deliveries while controlling costs.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation planning or logistics coordination.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and routing software.
• Strong understanding of logistics principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for on-site visits.
• Familiarity with the Pretoria road network is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
