Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Telecom Network Operations Specialist to join their Stellenbosch team. This hybrid role combines remote work with office presence to monitor performance, respond to incidents, and perform routine operational tasks to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

You will use NMS tools, analyze network data for trends, and coordinate with operational teams and vendors for issue resolution and service provisioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 2–4 years of network operations experience.
• Familiar with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network health and performance with NMS tools.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and alerts per procedures.
• Perform routine system checks, backups, and software updates.
• Analyze network data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
