Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced System Analyst for a 12-month contract in a hybrid-capable team. You will analyse business and technical requirements, map system dependencies and translate needs into precise specs for delivery teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in system analysis, strong API and data-flow knowledge, and experience in financial services environments. Collaborative, delivery-focused role in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a System Analyst or similar role.
• Experience analysing complex enterprise environments, ideally in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of system integrations, APIs and data flows.
• Experience documenting functional and technical requirements.
• Experience working with Agile, hybrid or waterfall delivery.
• Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, IT or related field; IIBA/Agile BA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into detailed system specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse existing systems to identify gaps, dependencies and improvements.
• Define system functionality, data requirements and integration points.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and product owners to ensure delivery.
• Support Agile delivery with backlog refinement and sprint planning.
