Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Education Teacher to join our inclusive school in Stellenbosch. You will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with families and therapists to support academic growth.

You will adapt curriculum and use assistive technologies, maintain confidential records, and contribute to a supportive team focused on inclusive education and student success.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a relevant qualification in Special Needs Education.
• Registered with SACE.
• 3+ years of teaching experience with diverse learning needs.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with special educational needs.
• Provide tailored instruction and adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
• Assess progress and document achievements.
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, and educators.
• Use assistive technology and resources to enhance learning.
• Maintain confidential student records and progress reports.
