Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Educator to join an inclusive school in Sandton, Gauteng. The role focuses on tailored educational support and developing students' skills within a supportive environment.

You will create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapt curricula to diverse needs, provide one-on-one and small group instruction, and collaborate with parents, therapists, and staff to monitor progress and communicate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Special Education.
• Certification or licensure as a Special Needs Educator.
• Experience with students with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, patience and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet learning, behavioral, and physical needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction.
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, and school staff.
