Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to oversee civil infrastructure projects in and around Paarl, Western Cape. You will manage on-site operations, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors to keep roadworks, water reticulation, and bulk earthworks on schedule.

The role combines site leadership with office coordination in a hybrid setup, offering opportunities for professional growth in a growing Western Cape infrastructure

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor/Foreman in civil construction with on-site leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily site activities and personnel.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Interpret project plans and specifications to guide on-site work.
• Monitor progress against schedule and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage allocation and use of labor, plant, and materials.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship.
