Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Toddler Development Coach in Randburg, Gauteng, offering a hybrid work model. You will guide toddlers (ages 1-3) through cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth while designing specialized programs and advising caregivers.

The role requires a Master's in Early Childhood Development or related field, 5+ years of experience, strong coaching and leadership, and proficiency with assessment tools for reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• 5+ years of direct toddler experience in education or development.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in assessment tools and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive developmental programs for toddlers aged 1-3.
• Conduct developmental assessments and track progress with suitable tools.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to toddlers and guide developmental milestones.
• Educate parents/guardians on child development strategies.
• Develop creative and engaging activities that promote learning, play, and social interaction.
• Collaborate with childcare professionals to ensure holistic development.
• Maintain records of children's progress, assessments, and intervention plans.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement.
• Handle administrative tasks and consultations remotely as part of the hybrid model.
