Placements24 is seeking a Senior Buyer - Indirect Procurement in Paarl, Western Cape for a hybrid role managing non-production spend including IT, marketing, facilities, and professional services. You will lead sourcing and negotiations, drive cost savings, and ensure supplier performance and policy compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in indirect procurement, strong analytical and stakeholder skills, and experience with procurement software and Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on indirect procurement.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for a variety of indirect categories.
• Excellent understanding of market dynamics and cost drivers for indirect services and goods.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories to achieve cost savings and enhance supplier performance.
• Lead negotiations for complex contracts and service level agreements.
• Manage relationships with key indirect suppliers, ensuring they meet performance expectations and contractual obligations.
• Conduct market analysis for indirect spend categories to identify best practices and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide expert guidance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and all relevant regulations in procurement activities.
• Monitor spend across indirect categories and identify opportunities for consolidation and leverage.
• Support the implementation of new procurement systems or tools as needed.
• Resolve supplier issues and disputes effectively and efficiently.
• Contribute to the overall development and continuous improvement of the procurement function.
