Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Architect to lead design initiatives in Rustenburg, North West. You will drive sustainable architectural solutions, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure compliance with SA building codes while embracing innovative, green design practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Registration with SAIA or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in architectural design & project management.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization and development of designs aligned with client briefs and objectives.
• Prepare drawings, specifications and documentation using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess viability and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and codes in North West, ZA.
• Manage timelines and budgets for timely, cost-effective delivery.
