Placements24 seeks a Lead Sustainable Design Consultant to drive sustainability integration in architectural projects in Benoni. You will lead development of strategies, model energy performance, and guide clients on green building certifications. Collaboration with design teams and stakeholders is essential.

You will mentor junior staff, stay updated on evolving standards, and promote the firm’s sustainable design capabilities while embracing a hybrid work model in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Design, Architecture, or related engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainable design consulting or a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of sustainability principles, green building rating systems, and SA standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies for architectural projects.
• Perform energy modeling, thermal analysis, and lifecycle assessments.
• Advise on sustainable materials and construction methods.
