Placements24 is seeking a Renewable Energy Systems Analyst for their Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal operations. The role focuses on evaluating performance, feasibility, and economic viability of solar, wind, and storage projects, with a hybrid in-office arrangement.

The candidate will build energy yield models, analyze regulatory impacts, and prepare investment proposals, working across engineering, finance, and business development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy) or a strong quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of energy systems analysis, renewable energy project development, or related analytical role.
• Experience with energy modeling software (PVSyst, SAM, WAsP) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical and financial performance of renewable energy systems.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for installations.
• Develop energy yield models and production forecasts.
• Evaluate technologies and provide recommendations.
