Placements24 is seeking a Regional Operations Coordinator to support Mahikeng, North West operations. The role combines on-site coordination with remote administrative duties, focusing on streamlining workflows and ensuring regulatory compliance in agricultural operations.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years in operations coordination, strong organizational skills, and experience with inventory systems. A hybrid work model and travel to farm sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Agriculture, Operations Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years in operations coordination, preferably in agriculture.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities across multiple farm sites within the region.
• Assist in inventory management for agricultural supplies, equipment, and harvested produce.
• Support farm managers in planning and executing operational tasks and projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in agricultural operations.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Liaise between farm management, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor resource utilization and identify potential efficiencies.
• Assist in implementing operational procedures and best practices.
• Prepare operational reports and update relevant databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
