Placements24 is seeking a Regional Logistics Coordinator to support operations in and around Mahikeng, North West. The role blends office coordination with on-site oversight, tracking shipments, managing driver communications, and ensuring timely deliveries within a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in logistics coordination, strong Excel and logistics software skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries for regional routes.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams.
• Liaise with drivers to ensure timely arrivals and addressing on-road issues.
• Manage shipment documentation, including waybills and proofs of delivery.
• Identify and resolve logistics bottlenecks and operational issues efficiently.
• Maintain records of logistics operations including times, costs, and discrepancies.
• Assist in negotiating rates and contracts with transport providers.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Process invoices and manage transportation expense reports.
