Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for a manufacturing client in Centurion, Gauteng. The role combines on-site inspections with remote reporting and documentation tasks to ensure products meet strict specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings, use calipers, micrometers and gauges, and apply SPC practices to identify deviations. ISO 9001 familiarity and strong attention to detail are essential.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies and SPC.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Utilize measurement tools to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to address quality issues.
• Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare quality reports for management with findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage remote reporting tasks and stakeholder communication.
