Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a proactive Production Planner to join a dynamic manufacturing team in a hybrid role. You will develop detailed production schedules, manage material availability, and coordinate with procurement and logistics to meet customer demand while optimizing resources.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, or related field and at least three years’ planning experience, plus proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of production planning or scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in production planning software (ERP systems, MRP).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed production schedules to meet forecasts and capabilities.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics for materials availability.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to address deviations.
• Collaborate with floor supervisors and managers for smooth execution.
• Analyze data to identify schedule optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare reports on schedules, metrics, and inventory using remote tools.
