Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Production Planner to join our client’s manufacturing team in Paarl. This hybrid role balances on-site coordination with strategic planning from a remote location, focusing on scheduling, material flow, and resource utilization to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field and at least three years in production planning, with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Odoo).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in production planning or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo).

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and resources.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production to ensure materials availability.
• Monitor production progress and address delays or issues.
• Maintain production data and inventory in ERP system.
• Analyze production capacity and identify constraints or improvements.
• Generate reports on schedule adherence and inventory status.
• Join S&OP meetings to align plans with objectives.
