Placements24 is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for our Klerksdorp, North West operations. The role covers end-to-end procurement tasks, supplier liaison, order processing, and records management in a dynamic mining supply context.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing support.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, SA regulations familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement from requisition to order placement and delivery.
• Process purchase orders accurately and in line with procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm order details.
• Track deliveries and maintain comprehensive procurement records.
• Respond to internal inquiries on status and availability.
• Assist in supplier onboarding and evaluate new suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels and collaborate with departments to manage inventory.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and report to procurement manager.
• Ensure ethical procurement practices and compliance with policy.
• Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
