Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Administrator to support our manufacturing client in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The role blends office-based collaboration with remote flexibility in a hybrid setup, focusing on purchase orders, supplier communications, and data maintenance.

You will track orders and shipments, maintain inventory records, assist with logistics, generate reports, and liaise with production and finance to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of administrative or supply chain support experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and attention to detail
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and manage supplier communications and inquiries
• Track orders and shipments, ensuring timely delivery of materials and finished goods
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, supplier information, and shipping details
• Assist in coordinating logistics and transportation arrangements for inbound and outbound shipments
• Prepare and file relevant supply chain documentation
• Liaise with internal departments (production, finance) and external partners to resolve operational issues
• Monitor supplier performance and adherence to delivery schedules
• Support the implementation of supply chain improvements and initiatives
• Generate reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and delivery performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to supply chain operations
