Placements24 is seeking a Residential Design Architect in George, Western Cape, to lead luxury residential design from concept to completion. The role blends office collaboration with site visits and remote design work across the Western Cape.

You will manage design development, documentation, and client liaison for high-end homes, ensuring exceptional quality and adherence to codes and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Registered Architect with SACAP.
• 7+ years post-qualification in architectural practice.
• Strong portfolio of luxury residential design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design process for bespoke luxury residential projects.
• Develop innovative design concepts for private homes.
• Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, specs and materials palettes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand vision and lifestyle needs.
• Coordinate with engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and builders.
• Manage projects from initial consultation to construction documentation and site supervision.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning and luxury standards.
• Present proposals to clients and project teams.
• Source high-quality materials and finishes for luxury residences.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to firm reputation.
