Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Information Security Compliance Specialist in Paarl to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role focuses on maintaining compliance frameworks, audit preparation, and implementing controls to meet legal and industry standards.

You will embed compliance best practices across operations, mitigate risks, and uphold a secure information security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
• 3+ years in information security compliance, risk management, or governance.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with audit preparation and evidence gathering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage information security compliance programs.
• Monitor adherence to relevant regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR) and industry standards.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external security audits.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and compliance training to employees.
• Maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and controls.
