Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC expertise to design, analyze, and implement heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for multiple projects in Mbombela/Nelspruit. The role blends remote work with in-office collaboration to ensure efficient project execution.

You will perform load calculations, equipment selection, and detailed schematics using CAD tools, while ensuring energy efficiency and code compliance across facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in HVAC design and analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• Experience in hybrid work environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and specify HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork/piping layout.
• Develop detailed HVAC schematics and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Perform energy analysis and ensure systems meet efficiency targets and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers throughout the design and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and to resolve installation issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and building codes.
