Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC specialization.
• 3-5 years of experience in design of commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software and load calculation tools (HAP, Trace 700) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HVAC systems for new installations and upgrades, including load calculations, ductwork design, and equipment selection.
• Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and energy modeling to optimize system performance.
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for HVAC systems using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate HVAC designs into building plans.
• Provide site visits for design verification and to address installation challenges.
• Specify and procure HVAC components and equipment, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
