You will drive load calculations, equipment selection, and BIM drawings, ensuring energy efficiency and code compliance.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with clients, and oversee construction through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC design and project engineering.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Trane TRACE).
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and psychrometrics.
• Experience with energy-efficient design strategies and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED).
• Strong project management and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of HVAC systems, including load calculations, ductwork design, and equipment selection.
• Prepare detailed HVAC design drawings, specifications, and submittals using CAD and BIM software.
• Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
• Manage HVAC projects from conceptual design through to construction administration and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards (e.g., ASHRAE), and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, designers, and project teams.
