Job summary

Golden Link Talent Solutions is seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator for a prominent FMCG employer in Cape Town. The role offers a hybrid model blending in-office collaboration with remote work to optimize productivity and delivery performance.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, manage inventory, liaise with suppliers and carriers, and use ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to drive efficiency while meeting cost and service targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics coordination, preferably FMCG.
• Experience with inventory management, transportation planning and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with logistics software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
• Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock turnover and minimize holding costs.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and distribution centers to resolve logistical issues or discrepancies.
• Utilize supply chain software to track shipments, manage orders, and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast demand and plan accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities and transactions.
