Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator with a Fleet Management focus to join our Randburg operations team. You will coordinate vehicle assignments, manage maintenance schedules, track fuel usage, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance for the fleet.

Ideal candidates will have strong admin and communication skills, experience in fleet operations, and proficiency with fleet management software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or Fleet Management support role.
• Strong understanding of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance scheduling and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational, time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections to ensure fleet uptime and compliance.
• Manage vehicle logs, fuel cards and expenses with accuracy and policy adherence.
• Maintain records of registration, insurance and licensing, with up-to-date documentation.
• Assist in procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles with cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Liaise with drivers, mechanics and service providers to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor driver behaviour and enforce driving policies with constructive feedback.
