Placements24 is seeking a competent Financial Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Benoni, Gauteng. The role offers a hybrid work model with on-site responsibilities in Benoni and remote flexibility.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, with 4+ years of accounting experience, strong IFRS knowledge, SA tax proficiency, and expertise in Sage or Xero and advanced Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and South African tax familiarity.
• Proficient in Sage or Xero and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger operations and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Maintain and improve internal control systems.
• Support external audits and provide financial analysis to business units.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures.
