Placements24 seeks an organized Farm Operations Coordinator to support Mahikeng-based agricultural ventures. The role bridges farm management and on-ground activities, coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources across sites with a hybrid on-site/off-site setup.

You will assist the Farm Manager in implementing plans, monitoring progress, and addressing issues to maintain productivity and efficiency in a dynamic farming environment.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture, Farm Management, or related field.
• Experience in an administrative or coordinating role within the agricultural sector.
• Basic understanding of crop production cycles and farm operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to spend time on the farm site for coordination purposes.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks and schedules for farm workers and operational teams.
• Assist the Farm Manager in planning and executing crop production activities.
• Monitor inventory levels of seeds, fertilizers, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, equipment usage, and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols on the farm.
• Assist in coordinating equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
• Facilitate communication between different farm departments and management.
• Support the implementation of new operational procedures and technologies.
• Prepare routine operational reports for management.
