Placements24 is assisting a respected independent school in Stellenbosch to hire an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Phase Teacher. The role blends in-person and online instruction to support young learners in Grade R and Grade 1, with emphasis on holistic development and a nurturing classroom culture.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Ed. or PGCE with SACE registration, Foundation Phase experience, CAPS familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with Foundation Phase specialization and SACE registration.
• Experience teaching in Foundation Phase with CAPS familiarity.
• Proficiency in blending in-person and online instruction.
• Strong classroom management and child-centered approach.
• Fluent or bilingual in English and Afrikaans is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Foundation Phase lessons.
