Placements24 is seeking an Event Operations Manager to oversee logistics for sports and entertainment events. You will coordinate on-site and remote activities, manage vendors, staff, and budgets, and drive event excellence from conception to post-event review.

The role demands a detail-oriented, dynamic leader with experience handling hybrid events and multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in event operations, managing multiple complex events concurrently.
• Experience with hybrid event models combining in-person and virtual components.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, setup, breakdown, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment.
• Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee on-site event staff and volunteers, providing direction and support.
• Implement and enforce safety and security protocols for all events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and reports, identifying areas for improvement.
