Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy trading, commodity trading, or related quantitative finance role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful trading strategies.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies for energy commodities (e.g., natural gas, power, oil, carbon credits).
• Analyze market data, news, and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities.
• Execute trades across various exchanges and over-the-counter markets.
• Manage and monitor trading positions, ensuring adherence to risk limits.
• Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate market risks.
• Perform post-trade analysis to evaluate strategy performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and geopolitical events affecting energy markets.
• Communicate trading strategies and performance updates to senior management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and market participants.
